Robert F. Meis joined the Firm as a partner in 2003. Bob’s general practice includes, but is not limited to, Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning & Probate Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, and Real Estate.
Bob was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa. Bob obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Iowa in 1980 and was awarded his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa School of Law, with distinction, in 1983. Bob is admitted to practice law in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Bob is an active leader in the Siouxland community. He has been involved with numerous boards including the Siouxland Community Foundation, Sioux City Public Schools Foundation, Sioux City Public Library Foundation and the Sioux City Alzheimer’s Association. He is currently the Treasurer for the Woodbury County Bar Association.
He is a member of The Iowa State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Bob enjoys biking, swimming, music, and spending time with his wife and four children.
